You washed your silver hair
Near the window sill
Lay your potted plants in gold
It must have been an illusion
Ephemeral envelopes
Of torn love
Arms full of grey matter
Smudging the love and hunger
Sweetness and summer mixed
We talked and talked
Bringing the love from our love letters
I had loved you three years ago
Now, we knew what an illusion love is
We kept being in awe
Fascinated by our bodies
Intertwining our downy arms
Scratching our backs with honeyed stings
You taught me what love is
I know what I am
Such moments came my way
Every person feels deeply to this day
With every ounce of purchased time
I find love growing much stronger
