As it feels
That it was written

She was just born
To die as a lamb
As many to the slaughter of fire
Her destiny to be cast
Into the volcanic inferno

Nerves made of steel
Yet, fear inside her heart
On her eighteenth cycle
Life soon to be cut short
Chained with no turning back

She tries to understand
This role of death shall be upon
Nothing shall stop time
To be moved onto the flames
Before her skin shall melt
Into the fiery abyss

Her sin
As the first born child
Like many
Pulled out of their sanctuary
The Mayan priest
Reads his final scripture
Before the mouth of hell
Shall consume

What have she done of sin
She has no reason to live
Tears from her eyes
Falling on her feet
The first blossomed rose
Shall meet her end soon....

(Guitar Solo 1)

The day she was pulled from home
Her parents pleaded for mercy
Yet, this has to be done
For the rain god to be appeased

The elders only atone their faults
Through the deaths of the beauties
Who never dropped a filth
Only the young roses must die
For the cowards to watch

"We offer you our daughters"
They cry
But no to drop themselves
Yet, the young child must suffer
To be thrown to he flaming destiny

"Was I in fault of deserving this death
O lord cleanse my people
Before the jaws shall open
Let my sacrifice be the light to them"
A child's final prayer...

(Guitar Solo 2)

"On this day, I shall die
As we walk as sisters before the final hour
God of rain... Goddess of life
We shall return to the clouds
Give us freedom
Through the flames, I shall cast upon the skies
Before I leave this land to thee..."

She closes her eyes
Knoweth it has been done
One last thought
BEFORE CONSUMED BY THE FLAMES!!!!
