Jan 2020
from all the cut down tree
of people we used to please. Let’s
fill in all the cracks so we never have
a leak again. And when we’re ready

we’ll set off high on the mountain
top. You see, we won’t float; we’ll rise
and greet the sun in the sky. We’ll turn
everything upside down so that the sky

will become the ground. We’ll have grass
growing from our ceiling. And the rain will
be a fountain sprinkling out from under
our carpets. We’ll call ourselves artists

and paint whatever we want without
no constraint. And we’ll leave this world
more beautiful because we build a boat
for two.
