I've learned to never neglect friends,
Despite being in a distant relationship.
Now I'm not even sure,
If they forgive me.
They talk to me in the moment,
Then leave me in the dust when plans come up.
A relationship is not something to die over,
Especially when you're only 17,
Because it will shock you in the long run,
To realize,
There's more to life than just "your true love."
