May 2013
She'd flip her hair on your sun-burnt face
and giggle when you get ******
or maybe laugh at your flimsy jokes
but still, she'll kiss your pursed lips.

She might hang your wet socks by the pane
and let the world see its holes
or turn your tumblers into colorful vases
but surely she'll put an "I love you" note.

She could paint your wheels with pink and purple
and put sand in your costly sneaks
or surely annoy you with her singing voice
but she'll sing like you are the lyrics.

She would bring you overly toasted buns
the ones she did for about three hours
and open the windows to let the rays in
as she jumps on your bed to touch your skin.

She'll be putting pebbles on your doorstep
but surely you will just know
'cause her scent leaves on her trail
like a flower in summer glow.

She might just grow tired doing stuff
trying to put a big smile on your face
but just like a child, you'll see her there
an angel calmly sleeping in your place.
