Lady Reflection
Our noses touch
Our lips are desperately close
In unison we whisper sweet nothings
In unison we shout bitter somethings
As my breath fogs her reflection
As my skin leaves marks on her reflection
I realize the reason I can't love another
Too wrapped up in her
Can't decide whether to embrace her
Keep trying to find out a way to strangle her
Wishing I could step through the mirror
Maybe coexist, maybe trade
She's the voice in my head
She's the biggest demon I can never cage
This was written on January 3, 2010.
