May 2013
You entered a stranger
Pouring down like rain
You came through like a storm
And stole my heart away

As time went on
You intensified
But then all of the sudden
We hit the eye

The eye was large
Filled with silence and peace
But I always thought
I don’t want this storm to cease

We got to the other end
Of the deadening peace
But only to find the storm
Oh so weak

But the feeling of rain
These kisses on my face
Keep my feet going
To return us to the storm
This is related to my other poem Stranger
