savor the last memory
as it haunts my tired mind
I can taste it on my tongue
and I can see it in your eyes
I can see our slow demise
the fire flickering off your face
blowing ashes and embers
burning down whats our to take
savor the last memory
as it wakes me from my sleep
wisps through the air
I can feel it in my hands
but when i look, nothings there
