The Witching Hour

Once again

Sleep eludes me

Thoughts consume me

Your poetry moves me

All of this a sadness

That weighs heavy on an already burdened heart

Watching the movements of the moon

Waiting for the warmth of the sun

Love will not rise with her

It will fall with him
