Capitalism Ruins Expectations
I grew up on fairy tales
I thought it would happen
Like a rain in the summer
No one tells the child
That things don't happen
If you stay indoors a lot
The end never comes
Each new chapter is forever
But then the epilogue is here
How do you begin a love story
Should it start with "At the bar"
I thought "In the rain" sounded best
I never wanted romance
I only wanted you
I waited in the rain
