be still

there is a flicker in your heart.
your wick will not contend,

the binding is secure.

here nothing moves.
where fire, consumes;
subconsciously project the light.
be known, in truth
mountains will move
but there will always be a fight.

so tether not your searing soul;
as only your hands can remove.
hot as the sun on ancient sand
burn brightly,
keep your head held high.
