The waves crash down

against the rocks

The sound is deafening

The wind moans through

the trees like a

woman calling

The clouds slip by through

the clear blue sky

The air is crisp

The leaves rustle

She stands on the cliff

She can feel the spray

from the water

She can feel the bite

of the wind

She can taste the salt

on her lips

She can hear the moans of

the winds

and the cries of the sea

The sun shines down on her

face trying to stop the tears

that flow

She watches as the leaves hit

the water and as

the angry sea ***** them down

She falls to her knees

and slides to her side

she cries

she moans

but no one hears

The sea cries to loud

and the wind howls even louder

She is

Alone
