Apr 2013
this summer
is going to be
more glorious than ever.
i'm going to go on road trips,
explore the corners of this city.
i will try to make art
and take photographs
of still things
and maybe candid freezes
of the loudest smiles.
i want to kiss the sun,
before the sun kisses me.
i want to cry to the ocean
before the ocean cries to me.
i want to swing on plastic seats,
i want to kiss soulful beats.
i want to remember this summer,
before this summer remembers me.
