Must love be a punishment?
I stand on the  and
with all myself discipline I can muster
I hold myself back from falling
From feeling
The emotions pull,
Your beauty tugs
my heart follows
Drunk on your Siren’s call
The feelings overwhelm
Hesitation dissipates
Then, the fall

And now I’ve sunk
The ship slips away
the waves break and
I drown in you
I gasp for breath
Look at the stars
As the night fades
from my sight
I'm in too deep
And feelings fade
I am numb,
All there is, is you
and so I end
