(Self)
Can I ask you a question
Yes you the man in the Mirror
Who am I ? beyond my present situation
Who am I ? Can you help me see it clearer
I thought to ask the man in the mirror
After all you just sit there
Can you shine some light
Listen to my plight
Without the camera , the poetry , motivation, Who am I
I’m not asking for a standing ovation
I’m asking Am I myself for myself
I’m asking for good connotation
Let alone a conversation
About who I am
Deep down in my soul
And all my life you’ve played your role
A beautiful reflection of me
Now can you reflect onto me

(Reflection)
Reflect on to you
I’ve spent your life collecting on you
Your a creative powerhouse
With a flame that can’t be doused
And a Name All it’s Own
You believe in things being one for all
But frown on all for one
Dom tha Poet is your moniker
And as far as ownership
I’m only a reflection of a great man
Whose yet to come and understand
His own place in this sea of life
But the king of his own space
With a heart set apart
He plays the field like a deck of cards
No matter how you build it
It’s truly your own
A young king ascends the Throne

(Self)
King I’m barely Dom
Um I’m not sure about king
Sure it has a nice ring to it
But here’s the thing

(Reflection)
Ah ah stop my king
Don’t be so modest
Just being honest your a king of oneself

(Self)
Maybe the king of hearts
But that’s still something
I fail to fit the part of.
