goosebumps
my skin belongs
on yours

there are valleys
taut ‘tween zygoma
and mandible,
mountains
burying themselves
in their own light
waiting, for a shadow
from a ghost

*I was never here
but goosebumps, darling.
my skin belongs
on yours.
