Too Maudlin'
Getting too maudlin’
my depression coddling
in sorrow wallowing
tears I’m swallowing
Need a dose of selfesteem
a bottle of cop-on cream
a potion for a daydream
anything to stop the scream
I’ll start my treatment tomorrow
today there’s too much sorrow
the doormat syndrome I borrow
between my eyebrows a furrow
