Poems
Jan 2020
forgive the mess
On the first of this year
I felt I was reborn
We, together,
cleansed of our disease
into ever-sought ease
Catharsis of the horrible kind
Extraction with tools of torture
Connectivity to those beyond us
Pulling demons caught in spiders web
For why someone else's hand
had to be the catalyzing force
We may never understand,
But to him you might be thankful
(For here I am
naked and unafraid)
