Milky Way

by Andromyda

I tilt my head up And you look down at me And I can’t think about the future I can’t focus on anything But what’s happening right now I can’t see past your eyes Sparkling and flowing Like the Milky Way Filled with all the meaning They hold every secret worth knowing I can read volumes in the blue A life of pain and struggle That makes me angry But a gentle strength That melts my resolve into nothing I could look into those eyes all day Learn all the knowledge they’ve ever known See all the beauty they’ve ever seen Feel every tear that’s ever been shed I could never get bored I could explore the milky way Until the end of time Learn every inch And see every planet and star Just by looking into your eyes
