I found you alone,
in silence,
in an empty room,
lonely, in pain,
trying to be strong.
Sitting by a window,
waiting for the sunrise,
with tearful eyes,
trying to let go.
The stars are dimming,
the sky is crying,
feeling your pain,
trembling.
I am sitting with you,
the silence is growing,
my eyes behold you,
they are glowing,
but barely coping,
not to cry.
I want to say,
but to my dismay,
the silence is stronger,
as the night feels longer,
it can heal your pain.
An empty dark room,
pierced with the moonlight,
with the sound of the night,
whispers to your heart,
but I remain silent,
beholding your pain,
still by your side.
There is always a time in life when we inevitably go through pain, and it's up to us what we learn on that journey...
