Dec 2019
I keep stealing sidelong glances at you
And looking away

You know I’m looking
But pretend otherwise

You smile ever so gently
Your eyes sparkle

Your form is extremely alluring
Your limbs long and graceful

I want to run behind
Follow you till I make you mine

You keep going out of sight
Stopping and watching me from a distance

How long will they go on
Our tricks and games

I’m afraid
Not that I’ll fall for you, I already have
But that it won’t last
Please don’t let me leave you
A prayer
