Dec 2019
I divested myself in this merger
a heart that could not perjure
waved itself stately as a flag
and to not a one it would brag
so long I’ve cried
these tears have calcified

When I look in the mirror
no reflection in the glass
time is all that I pass
in a bottle
I’m just a dottle
in the old man’s pipe
not worth the hullabaloo or the hype
