rhyming is easy..
and lots of fun
stick around for a minute
i'll show you how it's done

the rhyme it is simple
it's easy to see
just put the words together
just like me

the story's the hard part
try for yourself
if the plot ..doesn't thicken
it's bound for the shelf

suess was the master...
of his time
he brought new meaning
to the lyrical ryhme

when the doc wrote
and ran out of words
he would make them up
this much i'm sure

i'm taken back
as a matter of fact
that this great man
wrote cat in the hat

he will live on forever
in young and old alike
we'll never forget him
like riding a bike

you have to respect..oh such a master
for green eggs and ham
was all but disaster

i pay my tribute  to the great suess
and all that he's done
now it's my turn
to have lots of fun

i dedicate this rhyme
right at this time
to the lyrical master
that he was all his life

i think of this man
all the time
all his great poem's
and all of his rhymes

why say horn
when you can say whotootle
why drive a car
when it can be a transpoodle
why bother with names
when you can be a thing
or screech awful funny
when your tryin to sing
why name a fish
when it can be known by a color
or lose your christmas
to a dog and a creature
or like a blue elephant
if thats what it is
who had a friend
riding with him
