i think about the convictions of life
i think about the uselessness
of commitment if we see no love
in the world and
the woes that this habitat brings us
hatred, if you will

hatred may taste
just like your favorite alcohol
or your go-to pill
something that will numb you
from the fact that you can't
see yourself in the mirror of love
"others do"
because you believe that
the world is lying to you
and that this habitat of hatred
is nothing more than
tragedy minimized
to your own little
life
filled with
strife...
oh
and some hatred
i dont hate the people. i dont hate the world. i hate myself, and the world hates me.
