Commuter Poet
Poems
Nov 2019
Last day on earth
On a day like today
I have to trust
My very essence
Which gathers in great droplets
Like syrup running from a spoon.
If I can wear a smile today
And encourage everyone I meet
Then perhaps if this were to be
My last day on earth
I would be happy with it
