Whence begins a brand new day
Old bitter clouds die parched
Overflowing rivers marched
To green from darkest gray

Hence so falls a sad lament
To a blithe and silent death
Sorrow sighs a childless breath
In taciturn descent

Thence a soul is unconfined
Left free to its devices
To entertain that which entices
A just and fertile mind
