So Close to Home

So very close to home, who'd every thought this Georgia boy would find a special kind of love in Wisconsin. Everyday, I get one step closer to home; it's not that I'm counting it down but it's like knowing it's just around the corner. For so long, I've the familiarity of a place only to realize it's not a place but a state of being. It's being surrounded by love not because you earned it but it was freely given. The road to home hasn't been without its bumps but it's been worth every bit of everything. I'd do it all again as long as it brought me to home. These words are forever true, "together is home". I know I will never leave because it's full of everything I hold dear and baby that's me and you, home.
