I glanced at you across the room;
you caught me.

You glanced at me from across the room;
I caught my breath.

The place was crowded but we were the only two around.
Our eyes met again, you blushed;
and your lips curved to resemble quotation marks.
You didn't have to say a word,
The sentence written in your smile said it all.

You were in love from across the room;
*and I had caught you.
