Watching his shadows fade away
She looked down and tried to look away
Without him saying he'll come back right away
But instead, he walked and walked far away

Watching the shadows she used to see at midnight cry
Coming to her just to sing a lullaby
In the crib of her, lie, dying by
Nightmares that quite made her eyes cry

Watching those shadows leaving her heart broken and home empty
Leaving her breathless by just knowing
That even, he, never left a fair goodbye
From her clueless mind who'd rather say goodnight

But maybe children, whose father left them hanging at night
Wondering what would've happened if that night
Didn't happened, and that nightmares didn't came up to a clueless mind
By such reality drew it into life
to my very missed father
