because you never forget anything
your mind, racing like it’s trying to win
echoes years of words
that are engraved into your mind

you never knew forever only lasted a month)

you simply can’t
there is strength in memories
and you,
you will always be weak
“Because supposedly, those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.”
