Sometimes holding you is harder than letting go,
Sometimes watching you  is better than talking to you,
Sometimes it's better that we never took pictures to show,
Sometimes I should have been more realistic as I grew,
Sometimes it's fine to sit apart from you than by your side,
Sometimes I still wonder why and how we met up anyway,
Sometimes I think I loved you in the past like a sweet cyanide,
Sometimes it's better we burn the memories we had that day,

I would rather be on my lonesome watching the sky turn gray,
I won't shed a tear for what I lost nor rejoice for what I gain,
Cause I know I loved you but that was just another yesterday.
