Trust My Lonely
Will I ever know how to fly like birds?
Hooked on your tongue, I listen to every word.
Do I make you sad?
Do I make you proud?
Will I ever be the one who stands out in a crowd?
Does it matter after all?
All our fears could be irrelevant.
Could you just love me for the hell of it?
I felt your despair seep through my flesh.
It left me stained and restless.
Seeking solace in recklessness, you painted your art across the heart inside my chest.
Together we dance in the dark, letting moonbeams reveal all our scars.
The world is ours to rewrite every verse.
Our silent screams to the universe, we shall be heard.
I know youβre far from home.
You are not alone.
Together we learn to fly like birds.
