Mar 2013
The morning starts up frosty
my wallet laughing,
"You lost me!"
Streets blank, cruising
wheel spins, gas pedal pushes
gaining speed.
Unlike most, this car needs me
to drive, to come alive
Unless it's stolen, it'll stay
by my side.
Leather seats are no replacement
for skin, artificial heat doesn't
warm me
Just reminds me that I'm lonely.
