Oct 2019
gentle as a summer breeze
or a winter storm
she could be any one of these
one day icy next day warm

often switching like the weather
being as soft as lace
then suddenly be dressed in leather
slapping me across the face

every day was tears or laughter
until i found the cause
and the three of us lived happily ever after
since her menopause
