Arrhythmia
the push and pull, the dissonance,
the heavy trawl of weightlessness—
the irony of freedom.

on a bookshelf, in the bleeding hearts of poets
or dead, forgotten, wishing we would have loved one wholly instead of many in parceled fragments.
