Oct 2019
sweet to me
like lavender tea
cradle to my
dew born eyes

i cried softly
for a minute

hungry is my soul
this freedom ache
like rip current
tunnel vision

i litigate:
i must live

we are the people perpendicular
disconnected
i lay flat on my bed and sigh

nostalgia
nostalgia
cut me down
i thought you wore
a solid gold crown
yet knew
deep inside
it was only gold plated

I loved

the world stays
air-seal pressed
