Oh Father God, deliver us from anger
May we stay cool when things get hotter
Oh Lord Jesus, save us who are like Cain
Grant us patience when enraged by others or by kin
Oh Holy Spirit, rescue us from the effects of wrath
Be our cooling water so anger we can have no aftermath
This we ask in our Almighty God. Amen!
