How I imagine you to be
Is the end of the world
Too terrible of a promise to believe.
I know
You will be a splash of ink on snow
Sizzling like the rain on a summer's stone
And the antithesis of me.
I fear
That I will fear you
As a fish might fear a drought
As a bird may loathe the lightening:
My curse is you.
You, who's love will strike me down.
