I'm standing at a crossroad
never seeing my life change
Caught up in a rat race
watching from a far
People rushing all around
some finding their exit

I'm standing at a crossroad
with people racing by
a dead look in their eye
Trying to make the road their on
paved with gold and jewels
Others walking along don't have to try

I'm standing at a crossroad
about to take step and choose
I hear a voice from the past
Saying turn back
Your life was chosen for you
No need to sell yourself to these roads

Your life changes
only when you seek the change
Your golden roads are family and friends
you love and protect them
You are alive not dead
keep your spark that makes you, you

Wait for what’s coming for you.
