Home
My parents said life is beautiful,
They told me home is where the love is.
This house brings heartache,
It brings pain.
They tried so hard to cover lies,
And I need to get somewhere soon.
I’m gonna do my best to get to you,
A more loving household.
It’s time TO BE ME.
I’m going to try to be the man you want,
I’ll bury my pride honey.
It’s good to be home,
Rather than “home”
