The wind in brooding moda
Gives a sing song salutation
As spoken through the rusted fencing wires
Meadow grass awash in waves and currents
Dragonflies are seagulls on the swells
Tree tops move in cresting undulations
Limb and trunk impressed in shaky ground
I watch the moving water
Like it's telling all my stories
The river only ever flowing past
The river only ever flows away
