And if I do fade with the evening sun
Can I then rise with the cresting moon?
Sit atop my perch and watch as the stars
Slowly burn out like my wobbly sanity?
Slowly become one with the universe that
Surrounds my heart and chokes it?
Oh man on the moon, will you come down
To me and take me away?
Put millions of miles between myself and my struggle?
Take me to a place where no pain exists
Only the supreme peace of absolute
Solitude and tranquility?
Oh man on the moon take me away
