Roses

Roses are red

Violets are blue

The most typical way for a poem to begin

The most typical way for life to begin

But how does it end

You will never know

You don’t control how your life goes

So don’t make plans for tomorrow

Because you don’t know what will happen

Never mention the past

Because you don’t know what’s coming next

But then you have to be thankful

Think about all of the sin

We have done in life

But God

Still allowed us to wake up the next day
