I don’t miss the sun
I can still see the light
Even when it hides behind clouds
It still seems so bright
Raindrops still shine on the concrete even when the sky is white
The sun is always there, no matter how it tries to hide

I miss the stars
Diamonds in the sky
Their unassuming beauty
That is best described with that cliché line
Because even though they’re bigger than the sun
You would never know from just looking at one

Unassuming and elegant
Quiet but beautiful
I miss the stars on cloudy nights
