He who tried.
High above the sky,
he wondered what he’d find.
For every star above,
There’d be another treasure cove.
He knew he couldn’t fly,
But that didn’t mean he couldn’t try.
To reach the unreachable,
He sought out the impossible.
And with his heart burning with desire,
He set out with a soul on fire.
He thrived where others merely survived,
And never ceased to leave them mystified.
But even with the will of a thousand kings,
He could not take wing.
In the end, even though he had failed,
He died with a smile on his face.
For even though he couldn’t fly,
Atleast he had tried..
First poem I've ever written. It's one I like alot.
Feedback is appreciated, thank you for reading it. :)
