The Goddess of War
Strength and beauty
Towering over my frail body
She standing tall
As I am the fallen
Shalt I not be forgotten
Her essence blinds me
Hair waving in the skies
Coming from the clouds
Attending to my despair
The final of a man's fair
I am the warrior
Tried to oppose
Alas, showing her rage
A battle did rage
This story ends
With her in triumph
(Chorus)----
Here I am
On broken knees
Kneeling under your feet
Here I am
On my final plead
Eternal, this man in defeat
-----------------
I am just mortal
She is the never-ending flame
That burns inside life
Brings back from the strive
My fight was over
Her beauty destroyed me
Spoken of a feeble one
It has be ended and done
My defiance was in vain
I suffered her kindness
Brings me down with pain
From my own foolish darkness
Holding her sword high
Roaring thunder from the sky
(Chorus)
(Guitar Solo)
Please, forgive my sins
Let me become stronger
Become my teacher
And teach me thine ways
To find my own VICTORIES
To carry along my journeys
Now, I walk alone
Now, I walk alone
With one thing on my mind...
(Chorus)
ATHENA, I BESEECH THEE
ATHENA, I SHALT WORSHIP THEE
I WALK WITH STRENGTH
TO DESTROY MY ENEMIES
WITH THINE BLESSINGS
