My adoration for you knew no bounds
My awe at you was limitless
My care for you stretched on to the expanse of eternity
My muse

My heart raced as you spoke your words
My eyes followed in every action you took
My skin ran cold every time it brushed with yours
My muse

My heart fell to pieces as you ripped it from my chest
My wrists began to bleed as you took away my voice
My dreams discarded off as you exposed my mind
My muse

No longer do I watch the stars
No longer do sit in wait for a person who will not come
No longer will I care for a person
No longer will I breathe this air

As I lay bleeding
I wait
Wait for you
To listen

To find me
I have no want
To be alone
Save me

My muse
