Another day, another night
Pass swiftly by and far from sight.
A subject new,
With troubles few
I hope it pleases you.

A lesser start, but from the heart
This is addressed to you.
A beaming face, a warm embrace;
A blissful journey yet,
A perfect place, when face to face
Thanks to the fact we’ve met.

Each day I see, I’m forced to be
of complete content at least.
Each night we spend, I wish no end
The close; an utter beast.

A sigh of glee, I come to be
A thing not known to me
A feeling intense, of great suspense;
A sense of being free.

What do you do, to make it so?
What you do, one cannot know.
All in all, this poem should end
Though please just know that from your “friend”
More exists than one could say
More exists, more than you know
And this you’ll see one day

But I think for now, you will see
This silly poem to you from me
Will simply end on “one, two, three”
And that’s the way that it shall be
