Aug 2019
it was ignorance, complacency
thinking we had forever
but forever died –
forever
but this survived
and this is what I’m making my art
this is what is I’ve got
so, I’m turning it out
I’m reliving it –
line
by line
stronger through time
stronger through the truth that you
were so afraid of me knowing
I found out through
your best friend
and my love –
hasn’t changed since then
clearly speaking from my heart
I would do it over again
knowing its tragic end
