out of guilt. She doesn’t want to be
your moral compass of fairness.
Don’t do it
out of pity. She doesn’t want you
to feel sorry for her.
Don’t do it
out of obligation. You don’t owe her
anything.
Don’t do it
out of one-upmanship. Aren’t you
better than this?
Do it
because you care for her. This –
and only this is the reason she’ll
accept it.
